Additional Information
Description: The FM Sound Module and "Frequency Modulation Sound Source" was invented in 1983 and became the standard sound source used for Synthesizers. This started to be used for the video game music source and became the new standard for Arcade games and Personal Computer game sounds. These days, video game sounds are created with newer technology that can create rock, orchestral, and techno music (PSG Sound Source), but the FM Sound Module is still respected by some video game music composers. This album, FM Sound Module Maniax is a compilation album created in respect for the FM Sound Module. Each creator composed and remastered original music for this special album!
Special thanks to the staff and contributors at Chudah's Corner, Game Music Revolution, Squaremusic, RPGFan, and SoundtrackCentral for many of the translations.
