28 Sep 2012 - Spy Hunter Composer/Soundtrack Details

On October 9, Warner Bros. Entertainment will release Spy Hunter, a reboot of the classic vehicular combat series for 3DS and Vita. Marking his video game debut, Ryan Shore composed a contemporary hybrid music score for the title — fusing big band performances with electronic grooves and overdubs. In homage to the original game, remixes of Peter Gunn's theme by Henri Mancini are a central component of the soundtrack. To coincide with the game's release, WaterTower Music will release an 18 track digital soundtrack for the game, which can be previewed here. Ryan Shore began his scoring career working for his uncle Howard Shore and has since scored numerous films of his own, including Harvard Man, Prime, and The Shrine.
