26 Sep 2012 - David Wise Scores Indie Project Tengami

Legendary game composer David Wise (Donkey Kong Country, Battletoads) has scored his first major project since leaving Rare. Entitled Tengami, it is an adventure game featuring a traditional Japanese setting and pop-up paper-style visuals. The game is being developed by Nyamyam — a UK-based indie studio formed of ex-Rare members — it will be first released for iPad next year, with additional platforms to follow. After a scarcity of works during his final decade at Rare, it is likely that indie games such as Tengami and the previously released War World will offer fresh creative opportunities for the composer.
