27 Jan 2012 - Series Focus: Might and Magic
Today's update is dedicated to the music of one of the longest-running RPG series, Might and Magic. The 25-year-old series spans numerous sequels and spinoffs, most notably the Heroes of Might and Magic series. A key component to the series' success has been its expressive musical scores, most crafted by Rob King and Paul Romero. Thanks to GOG, much of the series' music is now available on stand-alone soundtracks.
Completing an epic review marathon, Simon has looked at all the soundtracks released from the series, including GOG's releases and physical bonuses. He goes into considerable detail about each score, while considering the series' development as a whole. It's a must-read for those wanting to know what to buy and what to avoid.

Note that the soundtracks for Might and Magic I, II, III, and V have not been released. A soundtrack was released for the Japanese-developed port of Might and Magic, which is reviewed here.
