19 May 2010 - 'Benyamin Nuss Plays Uematsu' Concert Hall Tour Announced

On Monday, we exclusively revealed that virtuoso pianist Benyamin Nuss will release his first album, 'Benyamin Nuss Plays Uematsu', through the record label Universal Music. The album will feature Nuss' interpretations of Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu's finest scores and will feature talented arrangers from a wide range of backgrounds. This ambitious production intends to bridge the worlds of classical and game music at last.

He states that his team's "strategy is to bring the wonderful music Nobuo Uematsu wrote to people who have never been involved in videogames and don’t have the slightest idea what videogames are and how fantastic the scores of videogames can be."

The concert tour will debut on September 12 and the album release will follow thereafter on September 17. Tickets for the tour can be purchased here with prices ranging from 14 to 25 Euros.
