13 Feb 2009 - Monster Hunter Orchestral Concert Announced

Monster Hunter Orchestral Concert

Capcom will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Monster Hunter series with two orchestral concerts in Japan. The concert was inspired by the success the series' portable instalments in Japan and follows the Gyakuten Meets Orchestra concert that occurred last year.

The concerts will be produced by Harmonics International and will be performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Kurita Hirobumi. The concert will also feature folk instruments and a special performance by Monster Hunter 2 vocalist Ikuko Noguchi.

Both concerts will occur on May 6, 2009 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space near Ikebukuro Station. There will be an afternoon performance from 1 PM and an evening performance from 6 PM. The tickets are available from 5,800 yen to 7,800 yen and can be ordered through Capcom from February 14. For more details, see here.
