Symphonic Shades - Huelsbeck in Concert

A CD release for Symphonic Shades - Huelsbeck in Concert has been announced. It will feature all music from the best-selling symphonic concerts dedicated to Chris Huelsbeck due to occur in August. In total, approximately 70 minutes of music will be featured. The CD booklet will include a brand-new and extensive interview with Chris Huelsbeck, with anecdotes about his work on the classics he is so famous for. He will also provide feedback on the mixing and mastering process of the album. The album will feature a conducting Turrican designed by manga artist Hitoshi Ariga. The track listings are below:

Symphonic Shades - Huelsbeck in Concert will occur on Saturday August 23, 2008 at Funkhaus Wallrafplatz in Cologne, Germany. After an initial performance at 8 PM, there will be a repeat performance at 11 PM. It will be arranged and orchestrated by Jonne Valtonen, conducted by Arnie Roth, and performed by the WDR Radio Orchestra and FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague. Special guests are Chris Huelsbeck and guest arrangers Yuzo Koshiro (Jim Power in Mutant Planet) and Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (Apidya II).

The CD is available for international pre-order from today at MAZ Sound Tools. They are selling the CD for one month after release exclusively. The CD will be released in the fourth quarter of 2008 and will be available for 22 Euros. In an exclusive English interview with Square Enix Music Online, concert producer Thomas Boecker has given further insight into the CD.
