Wow. Matoya's Cave is a jam, and I never knew. Waltz really bores me, and the cheesy theme from Final Fantasy 8 is always a turnoff. Gogo Matoya.

Matoya's Cave all the way. I would hate to see this go in this round, but hopefully it stays. It's melody is killer for me. On the other hand, we have Waltz which is just an instrumental version of my least favorite vocal song from FF.

matoya's cave wins it for me even though i have only heard it in this contest i love the melody along with the bass. waltz is very nice and that's it.

I ||: hate, hate, hate, :|| the Waltz. I don't care that much for "Matoya's Cave", but I haven't liked "Waltz for the Moon" from the first time I heard it. Give me "Dance With the Balamb Fish" for all of my FFVIII dancing needs thank you very much.

The delay is welcomed to me, I haven't voted yet... problem is I still don't know what to vote for.. >.< Waltz for the Moon's cheesiness does not bother me, but I don't want Matoya's Cave to go either. Considering Matoya's Cave is in the lead by twice as many votes, I might just avoid voting this time.

This is a pretty tough decision for me, actually. Waltz for the Moon was the piece that first brought me into video game music, so it's got some sentimental value, as well as being pretty sweet. Matoya's Cave is quite addicting too, though.

I'll vote for Matoya, though. Waltz for the Moon is one of Uematsu's most heavily orchestrated pieces (of the non-Hamaguchi stuff), and I admire Matoya for pulling off the same effect without that aspect.

On a completely unrelated sidenote, I had no idea Frog's arm is on Popeye-style steroids until I stared at scherzo's avatar for about a minute straight.
