Round 2, Pairing 28: "Descendent of Shinobi (FFVII)" vs. "The Decisive Battle (FFVI)"

"Decisive Battle" no doubt. To be quite honest, I not only think "Descendent of the Shinobi" is not a suitable match for "Decisive Battle", I think it's a poor match for everything aural on the planet. I don't like it at all. It reminds me of "Epona's Song" from OOT, only much crappier. In my opinion, "Desc. . ." is the worst song that I've seen all round.

DoS is a nice theme that really brings back memories from FFVII; but musically its nothing compared to one the best battle tracks in FF history. Decisive Battle gets my vote because of its awsome melody.

Let's see. One of my favorite character themes vs. one of my favorite battle themes. This is an interesting matchup. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to go with Decisive Battle. It's just a better track overall. Perhaps Yuffie, you should stick with Hamauzu's version of your theme from DoC.

Even though Descendent of Shinobi is a cute song (and pretty much the only thing I like about Yuffie..) I am definitely going to choose Decisive Battle. Everything about that song is awesome in my opinion. :)

Nonetheless, for me, Descendant* of the Shinobi may be the thing I like least about Yuffie. I didn't say dislike, but this song was never much more than a cute theme for me. I don't foresee The Decisive Battle having any real semblance of competition this round. That was unfair. >_> Not that Descendant'd make it to the top anyway. Edit: 12 - 6? Unexpected. Where are all the Descendant voters? Hiding?

(and yes, it was implied that I voted for The Decisive Battle.)
