Oh man... this one's really hard, I may have to flip a coin or just not vote...

hmm... on one hand, Kefka's Theme is a villain's theme, which is a plus. But Cid's theme is majestic... and I'm a sucker for majestic. Neither are my favorite character themes on their respective albums, but they are pretty close... hmmm...

That's it! Kefka's theme has style and attitude... Cid's theme is just pretty.

Dave, do you deliberately make this hard on us?

I am at a loss for words. Two great themes. Only one great winner. On one hand, we have the theme of a truly diabolical madman, and the theme of a airship owner with a penchant for getting Shera to make some &^*#()@ tea.

This one was a tough one for me, but I decided to vote for Kefka's Theme (and seemingly tie up the votes) due to it's interesting sound.

If I was considering each piece independent of its place in the game, I'd probably choose "Cid's Theme" in a close battle. However, I choose "Kefka" because it fit Kefka's character far better than "Cid's Theme" fit Cid's. "Cid's Theme" is beautiful, but honestly, you play me that piece of music without Cid, I'm not imagning Cid in my mind. With "Kefka", there's no doubt about it. I'd at least picture something close to Kefka.

Man, I like both themes, but I'm gonna have to go with Cids. As said before, it's just so darn magestic and beautifully put.

I went for kefka. cid's theme is good but i can listen to kefka's theme alot longer than cid's theme

As for the which one I pick I'll go with Cid'd theme. "Kefka" is great but I just like Cid's Theme a little bit better. Still the all the rcent songs have been so... good. Hard to choose it is.

Everyone who mentioned an airship in their post is now obligated to vote for Setzer, because nothing screams airship more than his tune. Just kidding of course, but you know ;)

I love "Setzer". It's so carefree, and boy does it ever feel like it's flying, and boy is it ever a perfect match for Setzer's outward persona. And I use my same justification for voting in favour of "Setzer" as I did for "Cid's Theme". I love "Cid's Theme", I really do, it's a very powerful, emotional piece. But it doesn't feel like Cid at all. Yes, it reflects a little bit of what's inside of him, but, it's just too much of a contrast. I love a piece of music that shows what's beneath the surface, but I think this is borders on innacurate. It's a lovely theme, but it doesn't feel like the character.

I have never liked Cid's theme much.. It's not a bad song, but nothing seems too special about it to me. Setzer is not one of my favorites either, but I like it better. To me it is upbeat and exciting while Cid's theme always depressed me for some reason.. I vote for Setzer.

Oh, in that case... this round is easy. Setzer. C'mon... how awesome is that theme!? Very. I especially love the version that plays during the castings.
