Judgement Day is a nice ambiant (PS1 ambiant music? Well I consider it that) track from FFVII. However it doesn't compare to Man With the Machine Gun! Machine Gun is one of Nobuo greatest battle themes. Awsome melody and awsome arrangment of sythns.
I don't even have to think twice.

I gotta go with Judgement Day. It has been one of my favorite songs ever since I played FFVII.
Have to go with the machine gun. Laguna was too much fun to play to not pick it.

Primal + Synth = win win
Man With A Machine Gun gets the vote
Judgement Day is a great final dungeon theme, but there's better stuff out there.

Sure, Machine Gun is something of a unique entry among Uematsu's theme but I can't see how anyone would be it behind one of FFVII's best tracks. Judgment Day succeeds in invoking a forbidding atmosphere, sorrow and hope...the amalgamation of all the events preceding the final dungeon. It could be a fine arrangement too. Machine Gun, by its very nature can't compete in my eyes. But it's popular so...

"Man With the Machine Gun" is my winner without even a question. "Judgement Day" is just about the only ambiant piece of music from FFVII worth talking about, but as a whole it falls short of pieces like "Lunatic Pandora", "Iifa Tree", or even "Another Moon" in terms of creating an atmospheric mood that stands as the game's ultimate moment.
"The Man With the Machine Gun" has always stuck out to me as an extra-special piece, and though "Judgement Day" is one of FFVII's better pieces of music, I find "The Man . . ." far more interesting.

The Man with the Machine Gun without second thoughts. Vote.

I also vote for the man with a machine gun. Judgemnt day isn't bad but falls short
I'm also voting for Laguna. I do believe "Judgement Day" is a great piece, but, come on, it's going against "Man With the Machine Gun!"

I'm going for the underdog here. Though I never appreciated "Judgement Day" when I first played the game, it is now among my top three pieces on the FFVII OST. Epic melodies combine with percussive effects to create one of Uematsu's most developed, deep, and memorable themes.
"Man With the Machine Gun" is fun and creative, but not as meaningful to me.

I voted for Judgement Day. It's a great theme - the best dungeon theme, besides The Castle, me thinks.
And as for The Man... In my opinion this is one of the worst battle themes in the Sony era of Final Fantasy... I've disliked it since the first time I heard it. Maybe it's too techno for me (but hey, I liked the FF X-2 battle themes, so maybe not), or maybe it's just too chaotic and/or stressed out. Maybe it's weak melody-wise... I don't know. But it annoys me something awful. :D
"Judgement Day" is one of the better themes in this competition, and it's a shame to see it go down to a track like "The Man with the Machine Gun." I have no qualms with the latter, other than that it is just a pretty melody. It has a more enjoyable atmosphere, but it certainly doesn't have the build up that "Judgement Day" offers. I'll be sad to see it go.
