View Full Version : Ye Olde Anglolande Bloge ov Done ande Dave
Since me and this chap'll be together for a fair few weeks, and we're pretty much posting about the same thing in each of our blogs, we'll post the happenings of our trip here in this thread!
Currently, we're in London, as you've read. :p We'll update soon.
I think this is a good idea; however, having it posted in our normal blogs as well will make the trip seem extra special.
The adventures of Dave and Don! LMFAO. I look forward to it.
First update:
English/London food seems to give both Don and I gas that:
1) Can kill all plants in the household within half an hour,
2) Cause severe rippage to said person's butt,
3) After a few days you can notice that there are no more pigeons in London *thank God*
4) Can cause the stitching to detiorate in a pair of jeans, and
5) Can be used as a weapon of mass destruction.

I have read many books about how beautiful London is, and would be very nice if you take photo as well:thumbs:
Oh what? Farting contests galore! Now I'm really jealous.
Lmao I glad you two have something in common :p
Never had I seen such a delight,
as a Don puking up last night.
(After two pints) :D
You guys better take some pictures! (not of the puking, but everything else should be fair game!)
Don, are you a lightweight? :D
Well, let's get one thing straight. I think I had a bad batch of cider (Ashton Press...ewww...). I had 2 pints earlier in my trip and didn't vomit so I attest my sickness to the cider. But, I haven't had much to drink in the last 2 months (yay for Uni!), so I'm sure there is a factor in there.

I had twelve last night, but they were girly double vodka and oranges so nothing as detestable as cider. There's currently a nice four pack of Guinness in my fridge that I'll need to consume before tomorrow, hehe. Glad you seem to be having a good time in England. If you ever want a day in Oxford before I leave, feel free to come up!
There's nothing as detestable as Guinness (or beer, for that matter) :p. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'll let you know. Vodka is another bane of mine. I'm more of a flavoured rum kind of person. Pineapple and Mango Rum = Heaven.
ZOMG...it's started already...I put a U in flavor. I guess I might actually be a displaced Englishmen, as your dad put it when I met him yesterday.
hehe. Pretty sure I am more English than American. Its a colourful dialect, is it not?
I think I've picked some of that up from hanging around here so much...but let it be known that I drink like an Irishman.
Two pints? Of cider? Don, I'm ashamed! And though rum, flavoured or non, is the sex, I prefer martinis myself. Develop a taste before tomorrow!
Where are you guys drinking at? Been out to Bristol yet?

Awwwwwwww Don I hope you're doing better now buddy. Hey guys, don't forget to take those pictures cause we all want to be there, but can't >.<
BTW Dave, you can take pictures of our fellow Donny on these kind of situations and when you think it's worth it :D
Just kidding guys! ;)
It seems that Dave may be a viable replacement for the petroleum crisis looming in the future. He's released more methane in the past few days than all the cows combined within our world. Just hook him up, pump it out, and voila! You have a new energy source. I'm sure Dave would be grateful as well!

I'd say "Aww poor dave" but I'm sure there's an equal part "Aww poor Don" too :p

We ought to start some sort of SEMO drinking club. We could have fun drinking games, like "Chug a beer every time Hamauzu uses stacked 3rds!" or "Every time a piano is used in a Shimomura score, take a shot!"
"Every time a piano is used in a Shimomura score, take a shot!"
There isn't enough alcohol in America. I like how you think though! :D

And I'm not even voting age yet! I think you guys might be a bad influence. :o
So we've been to Bath and Weston-super-Mare since our last update.
In Bath, we saw the Roman Baths and I was half-tempted to pay for Dave's admission ticket to the Abbey to see him freak out. It was a fun trip. We also had a nice, inexpensive meal at "The Cellar Bar."
In Weston, we pretty much spent the day on the beach kicking around a ball. We got really red, but not sunburnt (in my case), but it was a good day. Dave accused me of eye-sexing everyone on the beach. I also had fish and chips for lunch (second day in a row!).
We also were going to go out to The Barn last night, but they had called time by the time we arrived. As such, we spent the time walking there and back. But it was cool meeting DD, and their near-dead friend, Matt. Today is Bristol so I don't know what is going to be going on today. We'll update later.

DUDES, you should have let me know you were coming to Bath. If you come back, you know, because you can't get enough, let me know.
Glad you're having a good time over here though. Good to see you've been converted to fish&chips though. T'is our national dish after all.
When we arrived we were like "oh no! We forgot to tell Jampot" !
I cried. :(
Erm, we might have to go back up to Bath to get a bus to Glastonbury or something. Or, we could just come up and see you anyway (don't know when). We're in Oxford from the 13th to the 16th (at most), and on the 19th Don is in Liverpool. So, whenever. :p

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww now now Donny don't be mean to DD and cook him a meal :p
I demand one for myself, but too bad I'm far away and Internet transfer doesn't work for food >.<
*Note to self: invent downloadable food*

I wish you do DD cause that would be the most and the best invention ever since we won't just share files, we'll also share food :D
I would love to taste Don and Andy's food!
Well, later today, Dave and I part ways. I'll be going to Liverpool to stay with Chris for the rest of my trip. It will be a fun occasion. Hopefully Dave has fun as well, where he is going. I also don't know the internet situation in Liverpool so this may very well be my last post for a while.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pictures?
:( I hope you guys had fun together. It sounds like all you guys did was fart.
Don! I think tonight was the last time I'll see you (till you inevitably come to England again)! If I wasn't so drunk/scarred/thorned/haemorahging*, I'dve given you a better goodbye (other than a vague wave :p ). Still, have a good one mate! Was great meeting you, and your food was well nice. E-mail me some more (Y)
*spelling not good with less reddy-water in self...
