The Chord Change Game! Basically, I will post a few songs I have in my collection and contestants will answer which song I am playing. All of the answers will be to video game music.

You will have to figure out the name of the song being played. PM me with the answers when you have all of them(do not just PM me with 1 answer or 2), you HAVE to have all the answers ready.

All of the songs are in the exact opposite chord(major or minor) except for the last one. You may join by PMing me the name of the 5 songs below. It's as simple as that. Number 2 is on the bottom. There was a mixup and I had to change it.

P.S. The deadline is now November 30.

P.P.S. The files are in Totz's post a few down.

Well, it would go something like this. First off, get a song to play, but change the chord on it. Like let's say, This is Halloween. Change it from a minor chord to the exact opposite major chord. It will sound much different. And I think this is one of Josh's, so I am not sure if it's ok to use it. I'm just giving an example.

Oh yeah, and the name of the song can't be on it either :p. Contestants will have to figure out which song is being played.

Btw, I don't know how to get a midi into another chord(unless it's sibelius 4 demo or finale notepad demo). I have a few songs from people, but I would have to take off the name of course...

Suggestion: Use MIDI files. Finale is capable of exporting MIDI, and it makes it easier for people to participate who don't have Finale. Also, it prevents easy identification - you can just hit the transpose option in Finale, and the song is instantly back in it's original key...

I had the same thoughts, unfortunately arcaneous only has finale notepad.

You should be able to export into MIDI with notepad... although, it's been a while since I used it. When you go to 'save as', select the file type. MIDI should be there.

Ok, I will look there. Nope, it only has the .MUS file.

Edit: I have a question. What other program will help me put it in a MIDI file?

Does this help? :)

Yes. :)

1. This is Halloween
2. That finale battle theme from Chain of Memories?
3. From Kingdom Hearts I know... I think its ....Roxas's Theme?
4. Mickey Mouse March. From Kingdom Hearts... sort of.
5. I has no idea. o_0

That was actually pretty fun. All of the top of my head.

Now it's been so freaking long I have to check again lol. Do you really not know #5 lol?

Oh and Black Mamba, #2 and #5 are wrong.

Course, I haven't played Chain of Memories so I wouldn't know, but that's not the name of it anyway.

I know what #5 is, but the notes are wrong (meaning the melody is the wrong progression of notes, even if it's in a different key).
