Four titans remain. Make the first semifinal a memorable one by voting here (http://www.squareenixmusic.com/uematsu.php) and commenting in this thread. :)
I'm taking the FFVI Ending as far as I can. But I suspect, even if everyone here on the forum voted for it, the FFVII Main would still move on, and therefore most likely win the competition since outside votes have consistently almost always gone against the general impression of themes from the forum members in these threads.

Again, I respect Main Theme, but I enjoy Ending Theme a huge deal more. Main Theme, I have to be in the mood to sit all the way through it, otherwise I tend to skip it when it shows up on the iPod. I normally listen straight through to Ending Theme whenever it comes up...Only exception is when I don't have 22 minutes to spare.

zOMG, please tell me you meant to say "Main Theme" Trust me, "World Crisis" and "Staff Roll" would not win in this competition.
Anyways, my vote goes to FFVII Main Theme, for obvious reasons. (I'll give you a hint: it has nothing to do with my FFVII fandom.)

I beg to differ... for me, "World Crisis" and "Staff Role" would each win out for me over the FFVII Main Theme, I'm surprised neither were nominated, now that it's brought up.
I'm going with... neither. Sorry, if it's close near the end, I'll give a nudge to FFVI Ending Theme, because it's superior in my opinion, but as for now I'll let things run their course.

Final Fantasy VII Main Theme gets my vote - again! Two times in a row, wow. ;) I hope it passes this time around... Though Ending Theme right now has a slight (1 vote) advantage...

I'm not a big fan of the medley getting any further, but I'm even less of a fan of main theme progressing further. I do NOT like it the least bit.

Never been in the Shroud concentration camp regarding the Main Theme. I think it's worthy of a place in the final, whereas Ending Theme probably not so much, since a lot of it isn't original.

I was hoping FFVII main and FFVI ending would be the last battle. Ah, one is an epic piece of proportions, and another is a grand theme of glory and adventure. What to do???
FFVII main is a beautiful theme and shows Uematsu’s musical dynamics, changing the mood from bright, dark, to having hope. I would have voted for this track if Ending Theme was not in the contest.

Sigh. Main Theme was the last theme I actually thought should win the competition. Since it's gone, I'm not sure who to vote for. :( All the other themes are either battle themes (none of which should win, as I said before; I don't think a battle theme can honestly be compared to anything a bit more mellow - it's like comparing Red Hot Chilly Peppers to Celine Dion), or forgettable stuff, at least for me. But I've cast another vote nonetheless (Matoya - looks like another lost cause). And I'll pay attention to the last rounds... Though my heart won't be in it...
May the squareenixfans' favourite win. :)
