Two killer themes. One will face execution over the next 24 hours. Another will live to potentially slay twice more.
Which of Uematsu's murderous vigilantes should live? You decide here (http://www.squareenixmusic.com/uematsu.php). Remember: It's a matter of life and death.

It is a matter of life of death.
Vote or Die!!!
I'm gonna vote for Vamo' this round. Its very unique and I love the spanish flair; one of the many gems on the FFIX OST. Ending Theme is mostly a complication of various other themes found on the FFVI OST.
I think it about time Ending Theme departed from this contest.

"Vamo". As much as I love "Ending Theme", and think the change of emotional impact from the regular incarnations of the themes to their "Ending Theme" realizations is extremely effective - I think it's tough to vote for a piece whose parts didn't make it here. Not to mention the fact that "Vamo" is one of my favourite FF pieces anyway.

P Diddy missed one thing:
Vote Correctly or Die!!!
And correctly means "Vamo' Alla Flamenco".
I agree with Shroud's comments on "Ending Theme". Great arrangements, great transitions, great coda, and great ending theme, but a medley into the quarter-finals. Big NO NO.
Well, I like both themes, but I'm not overly fond of one track over the other, so...

I don't understand how Ending Theme made it this far.

FFVI for me, Sezter's airship theme is mesmerizing near the end.

Getting my vote and comment in for Ending Theme, considering the last pairing.
Actually, this is pretty easy...Vamo has always been a solid tune, but never a great one (I actually remember the theme right before it in the game far better).
Ending is large, includes MANY themes from the game (almost unfairly for the purposes of the contest...meh, oh well) and is nowhere near tedious, considering the length (which negates the unfair thing). Best part: The appearance of Shadow's Theme. And Gogo's Theme.

I agree.. Vamo is good but not that good. I would have rathered some of the themes it beat in previous rounds make it to this point. I don't know if Ending Theme deserves to have gotten this far, but I will take it over Vamo.
Omigod, I was torn for a second...
FFVI for me, Sezter's airship theme is mesmerizing near the end.
Thanks for reminding me why I can't possibly vote for Vamo.
I do appreciate the musicality of Vamo but it can't possibly surpass the musicality and sheer epicness of the Ending Theme which appeals to every emotion of the heart and bring back fondest memories of adventure to the mind. Vamo is very passionate, but it doesn't deviate from one emotional quality...for this reason alone I would have to vote for Ending Theme as being the more dynamic of the two (on an emotional level). For Christ sake, it has literally scores some of the most memorable musical themes imaginable, one right after another, flawlessly and impeccably integrated to make one flowing piece of gutbusting goodness. Then of course, the day is saved and the music MAKES the game, right there; when Setzer's piece makes its grand statement...well it never fails to make the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up. Still does and probably always will. But that doesn't really do it justice...
Vote Ending Theme. Simply put, its one badass mofo.

Seems like Ending Theme has stormed ahead. Maybe Locke's final prediction will be right!

As much as I love the ending theme of FFVI, I'm going to have to go with Flamenco because the ending theme is mainly a conglomeration of already existing themse put together. Yeah I know it's hard to do that. However, if taken on it's own as a piece of music it wouldn't make much sense without all prior knowledge of all the other themes. Because of this dependence I can't really vote for it, it's like saying FFVI's OST is better than Matoya's cave.
However, Flamenco can stand on it's own. Also it was fairly original for what Uematsu was doing at the time and further it has loads of potential for interpretation.
