Contact Us

Please ensure you read through our Frequently Asked Questions page before contacting us, as there's a good bet your answer can be found there. In addition, be aware that our visitor-friendly Site Support / Feedback Forum is a good place to ask basic site / music questions.

When to Contact Us

Contact us only as a last resort. 80% of the questions we receive are answered in the FAQ already and most of those remaining could be asked in the forum, often yielding a much quicker response. Thank you.

DO NOT contact us for the following reasons or in the following circumstances:

  • To make submissions. The review submission, music submissions, and lyrics submissions pages are the correct places to do this.
  • To try to contact a video game composer. Use the composer compendium to direct you to their official web site.
  • To request permission to play music from a video game at a concert or other event. We have no rights to grant this.
  • To ask for the title of a piece that you heard in a game. Try using game music discussion forum instead.
  • To request that we email you Weekly MP3s. They are meant to be temporarily available and it's too bad if you missed one.
  • To request that we send you zipped sheet music books, certain MIDIs, arrangements, etc. The Requests / Downloads Links are a better place toask for them.

DO contact us for the following reasons or in the following circumstances:

  • To highlight any factual, grammatical, technical, or other error in any page of our site, even minor ones.
  • To request affiliation. We do not currently have affiliates but intend to change that in the near future.
  • To provide positive feedback or offer constructive criticism regarding the site. We appreciate this.
  • To ask any relevant question that is not answered on the FAQ or isn't appropriate for the forum.

Despite our best efforts, we have limited time to respond to enquiries due to heavy schedules so do not be offended if we respond late or not at all to your message. If a week has passed since your enquiry, please contact us again. Sorry about that.

How to Contact Us

If you're sure your question has not been answered in the FAQ and cannot be answered in the forum instead, please fill out the form below. Please be clear and specific when answering your question, using comprehendible language. Remember that we are very busy and there may be several days before you response. If your question has been clearly answered elsewhere on the site and you didn't follow what has been emphasised above, it is unlikely that we will respond.

To contact us, simply email chris [at] squareenixmusic.com. We will be presenting contact forms shortly but this is the best way when we're ironing out minor technical issues on the new site.
